How to Make an RJ45 Ethernet Cable

  1. Slide boot covers onto cable before crimping
  2. Insert cable into stripping port and strip 360°
  3. Align wires per T568A or T568B standard (T568B recommended for home use)
  4. Cut wires evenly using the crimper's cutting blade
  5. Insert wires into pass-through connector maintaining sequence
  6. Insert connector into 8P crimping port and squeeze firmly
  7. Test completed cable with the included network cable tester
